Rambunctious Moments

Today has been a little bit better of a day. Adriana has been very rambunctious today. They had to give her a lot of sedation medicines throughout the day and I'm guessing they just now hit her because she is really out. I am HoPEing she cooperates for another day or two so the doctors can take her breathing tube out when they feel she is ready. Her heart rate and blood pressure was very low today but she was cold so they covered her with the bear warmer and that helped her get back to normal with her stats. Then this evening she spiked a fever and still has one 3 hours later. They swabbed her again and gave her some meds to help with the fever and agitation. I just got told that at 5am they are going to stop all sedation and see if she is ready to extubate. If they feel that she is then she will be breathing tube free by 7am. I am praying that all goes well. It's bedtime for me because 5am will be here before I know it.
